Barb Hill Road Bridge Reopens in Rhode Island.

Rhode Island DOT recently opened their most recent composite arch bridge to public traffic. This is the second composite bridge from AIT Bridges constructed in Rhode Island since 2018. The introduction of composite materials in Rhode Island bridge infrastructure has been possible by Rhode Works, a commitment from Rhode Island to repair and replace structurally deficient bridges. Rhode Island is working to fix 1,162 structurally deficient bridges or 22% of bridges across the state. AIT Bridges looks forward to working with Rhode Island DOT in the future to bring more sustainable bridges to the state.
